Third Test: Preview
After the heroics of Lord’s, Leeds is the next stop for team India as the third test match will be played there. India has won both the last test matches they played here and will be looking forward to making it 3 in a row. Indian team looks well settled as we move ahead in the series and a change in the team is not really expected.

England’s Mark Wood was injured during the second test and is ruled out of the third test, England was already having problems with their bowling attack as Stuart Broad got injured and now Mark Wood. Saqib Mahmood and Craig Overton are the 2 possible replacements for Mark, looking at the way Saqib bowled in the ODI series against Sri Lanka it is very much possible Saqib is handed his first debut test match.
Leeds has been a venue for some of the iconic batting performances and is a goof pitch to bat on, Ben Stokes’s iconic Ashes knock came in this ground only and we’ll be hoping for another cracker of a game when India and England play on 25th August.
Shardul
Thakur is now available for selection after recovering from his injury. However,
he might not play as the side is already looking well balanced. Ashwin might
get a chance in place of Jadeja as he hasn’t been able to take any wickets in
the last 2 matches. Let’s hope for some rain-free test cricket now, hoping for India to take another win under the belt.
